The iconic Thac Ban Doc Waterfalls is located on the Quay Son River, near the border of Vietnam and China. Romantically referred to as "The Couple Falls," this incredible natural wonder consists of two distinct waterfalls, the larger part being on the Chinese side and the smaller one on the Vietnam side. With a width of 208 meters, it is the fourth largest transboundary waterfall in the world, according the to the World Heritage Committee, and while its smaller brother on the Vietnam side may be lower in height, the combination of both the east and west make for truly breathtaking views. Visitors who come to The Couple Falls are treated to awe-inspiring panoramic sights - particularly during the rainy season. Many have also come and gone with rewarding experiences, making Thac Ban Doc Waterfalls one of Asia's most visited attractions.
