Somekobo Yumeyusai cafe in Arashiyama, Japan is a unique spot to appreciate the bounties of nature! The 150-year-old gallery was originally an inn, but now has been taken over by Yusai Okuda, a dyeing artist. Inside the cafe, visitors can enjoy stunning views of cherry blossoms and bamboo flowers through Ikebana (the traditional Japanese art of flower arrangement), made spectacularly more picturesque with reflections on acrylic boards. Beyond that, the cafe also offers breathtaking views from its picture window, where green scenery reflects off the desk. This trip won't be complete without looking out for Somekobo Yumeyusai's blue maple in full spring leaf or admiring the beautiful water mirror reflecting it up trees in the garden! An experience like no other awaits at this unique cafe in Arashiyama!
