Motonosumi Inari Shrine, perched atop dramatic cliffs on the north coast of Yamaguchi Prefecture, is a popular tourist destination known as a "power spot". With its line of 123 vermilion shrine gates set against the verdant green hillside overlooking the Sea of Japan, tourists can't help but be captivated by this photogenic place. But it's not just stunning views that make Motonosumi Inari Shrine worth visiting - there's much to do here! Take a short walk along the cliff and you'll find the Ryugu no Shiofuki, or "Dragon Palace Geyser" situated on a blowhole in the cliff. You'll also find various small stone shrines, including a Jizo, Fudo Myo, and a Kannon with an octopus, all of which make for great photo opportunities. Whatever you're looking for, you're sure to have a great time at Motonosumi Inari Shrine!
