Milford Sound's fame stems from its dramatic landscapes: towering peaks, sheer cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and reflective waters. A highlight is the famous 2-hour boat tour, providing close-up views of the iconic Mitre Peak, the Bowen Falls, and Stirling Falls. The tour also offers the chance to spot wildlife, such as seals. We opted for a boutique small-boat cruise, with limited passengers on board so we had the space to fully explore this magical place.
