Top spot to see wombats with its open grassy plains and elevated boardwalks. Wombats here are used to visitors and may even stroll right by you as you explore the area. We did this as part of a hike which we highly recommend. After finishing the Dove Lake Circuit, we continued on foot to Ronny Creek. It was about an hour or so before sunset so the perfect time to spot them! We then caught the shuttle bus back to the Visitor Centre.
