Istanbul, Turkey

Spring (April–May) and Autumn (September–October) are hands down the best times to visit Istanbul.

The weather is mild (15–25°C / 59–77°F), the crowds are manageable, and the city just feels alive — perfect for exploring on foot without melting or freezing.

Summer (June–August) gets hot and humid (30°C+), and the tourist crowds are at their peak. Still doable, but not ideal.

Winter (December–February) is cold and rainy, occasionally snowy — but if you don't mind that, hotel prices drop significantly and the city has a moody, cinematic atmosphere that's honestly quite special.

My personal pick? Late April or early October — sweet spot between great weather, reasonable prices, and fewer crowds.
