The road to the beach is an extremely narrow dirt road if you arrive from the Nafpaktos side. If you are afraid of narrow roads, it is advisable to go to the beaches via Chrisovergi, Kenourgio, and then Perevos. After that, there is a road along the lake with many beaches along the way.
In other words, the best way to reach Lake Trichonida when driving from the Charilaos Trikoupis Bridge is to drive along the left side of the large lake. It will take longer, but it will be safer.
