The large temple complex was built to honor the tenth Panchan Lama and serves as one of the go-to temples for people of Tibetan origin across the region - making it an important cultural point for the people.
The central building features the main temple building and is covered in hand-drawn designs.
The grounds themselves, too, are a fascinating sight - with deer and sheep running around while monks play basketball.
Continue on the path for a couple of hundred metres and you'll end up at the women's monastery - a village built onto the side of the mountain with it's own monastery.
