The best way to explore the Helgeland coast is to take it day by day. You can never be completely sure about the weather, you might not catch the ferry you had planned - then it's best to take things in stride.The best way to travel is to take your house with you. Maybe you have a tent lying around, or maybe you can rent a camper. This gives you the freedom to take your time in places you might like. Helgeland is not overbuilt or full of tourists, so you will always find a place to pitch a tent or leave your car.
