Another relaxed stop along the Limestone Coast is Long Beach, a truly beautiful coastal escape. Located just a short drive from the charming town of Robe, this beach offers a peaceful retreat with its wide, sandy expanse and crystal-clear waters. 

After long drives during this segment of my travels, kicking back on the soft sand, with the rhythmic sounds of the waves as my soundtrack and the gentle sea breeze keeping me cool, was absolute perfection. Long Beach boasts stunning views of the Southern Ocean and the rugged coastline, making it a fantastic spot for a leisurely beach walk or a casual picnic.

When my sister and I visited, we strolled along the beach and collected a delightful array of colorful shells. As part of the picturesque Limestone Coast region, Long Beach is renowned for its natural beauty and relaxed vibe. Whether you're eager to soak up the sun, explore the nearby coastal trails, or simply enjoy some quiet reflection by the sea, this stop embodies the essence of Australia’s laid-back coastal lifestyle.
