This is where you’ll find the famous Lady Knox Geyser (which I’ve also pinned on my map). Like the other geothermal spots in Rotorua, Waiotapu is full of crazy landscapes shaped over thousands of years of volcanic activity. What makes this one stand out, though, is the insane colors—think bright oranges, deep greens, and even neon yellows, all thanks to the different minerals bubbling away beneath the surface.

The park is open daily from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and entry is $45 per adult (Check getyourguide for discounted tickets). If you’re planning to visit Lady Knox, make sure to time it right, as it erupts daily at 10:15 AM (with a little help from some soap).
