Taranaki Falls is definitely one of those spots that just feels like nature at its best. The 6km loop takes you through some beautiful landscapes, and the waterfall itself is a showstopper. The way the water cascades down the rocky cliff into the pool below creates a kind of peaceful, natural oasis. It’s surrounded by lush greenery, and if you're lucky, you might even catch a rainbow in the mist. Along the trail, you'll pass a couple of other waterfalls and wander beside a creek, making the whole walk feel like a mini adventure.
I did the loop clockwise, but honestly, both directions seem to have similar elevation, so you can go whichever way you prefer. It’s a popular spot, but still totally worth it.
