Crayfish Bay is a stunning spot that’s gained some attention thanks to viral social media videos, but don’t worry, it’s still somewhat hidden and not overcrowded. To get there, park at the end of Opito Bay Road, then walk along the beach and follow the track on your right. Keep an eye out for the path as it can be a bit overgrown. You’ll cross a fence with steps and then another fence before reaching the bay, it’s about a 1km walk, super cruisy.
Once you get there, you’ll be treated to vibrant turquoise waters, perfect for snorkelling and cliff jumping. The bay is most swim-friendly at high tide, but if you’re daring enough to jump, make sure to check the depths for safety. It’s a great spot to soak up the sun, swim, and relax on the rocky ledges. Definitely a must-visit for a summer day trip!
