Eagle Bluff Lookout is a fantastic pitstop when exploring Shark Bay, offering awe-inspiring views of Denham Sound from its dramatic cliffs.
Stroll along the elevated boardwalk for the perfect vantage point to catch stunning sunsets and spot osprey, sea eagles, and if you're lucky, even dugongs in their natural habitat. It's a dream come true for birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts alike. Although I didn't spot a dugong during my visit, keep your eyes peeled—you might have better luck than me! I did manage to spot several sharks swimming in the shallows, adding an unexpected thrill to my experience.
Western Australia's infamous winds can make your visit quite breezy—be warned, it might feel like you're braving a mini cyclone! I found myself struggling to keep my balance a few times, which added a bit of adventure to the outing! Don't forget to pack your camera, binoculars, and a sense of wonder as you visit Eagle Bluff Lookout.
