Stamford Bridge is a football stadium in Fulham, London, home to Premier League club Chelsea. With a capacity of 40,173, it's the ninth largest venue in the 2024–25 Premier League season and the eleventh largest in England. Opened in 1877, it was initially used by the London Athletic Club before being taken over by the Mears brothers to establish Chelsea FC. Over the years, the stadium has undergone major renovations, including becoming an all-seater venue in the 1990s. It has hosted various sports events and has a rich history, making it a significant landmark in English football.
