Boddin Point Lime Kilns, built around 1750 by Robert Scott of Dunninald, are a cool set of old lime kilns perched on a promontory. These kilns were used back in the day to produce lime for all sorts of stuff. But here's the kicker – they're now facing a serious threat from coastal erosion. Like, the waves are chipping away at them big time! Some smart folks did a fancy laser scan of the kilns to document them before they crumble into the sea. So yeah, these historic structures are hanging on for dear life against Mother Nature's relentless forces.
