Hananipa is an iconic and stunning hike in Lofoten Archipelago in Norway. The hike is a moderate and 8km trail filled with breathtaking views in every direction. Enjoy the meadow, lakes, streams, and woodlands as you take in the extraordinary beauty that the area has to offer. Challenge your way up steep sections of rock rib secured with ropes or chains for safety. The summit is where the unique panoramas are presented - stretching over Moskenesoya Island different landscapes including Hermannsdalstinden, mountain peaks, fjords and lakes. It is definitely recommended to have a break at Munkebu Hut on the way, located between two small lakes, and is worth the effort for the rewarding view! Make sure to have proper hiking waterproof boots since there’s a boggy section that can be challenging even during dry weather.
