With only a few main roads crisscrossing the island, planning your days strategically is essential! My itinerary is divided by region — we based ourselves in Ponta do Sol, heading out for sunrise and morning explorations, returning for an afternoon break, and then setting off again for late afternoon and sunset adventures. Alternatively, you can dedicate entire days to different parts of the island, covering each unique quarter.
