Where to Stay

There are only a couple of roads connecting the North and South of the island so I would recommend staying somewhere central like Seixal/Porto Moniz (my fave areas) or Ponta do Sol (stayed here and loved it), or in the capital that has everything you need, Funchal (all roads lead back to Funchal)
