This was our first stop in Madeira and honestly gave us a bit of the heebie-jeebies -- our first intro to the staggering heights of Madeira! Driving up here was sketch but the peaceful bliss in nature once you get here is SO rewarding. Miradouro da Eira do Serrado offers breathtaking views of the Nuns Valley and surrounding mountains. The short climb up to the viewpoint is well worth the effort, bringing panoramic views that are perfect for snapping some Insta-worthy photos. There's also a toilet, gift shop and the café at the base.
