Koropuku Falls is a hidden gem tucked away in the Catlins Conservation Park, located along the beautiful Chaslands Highway. It stands 33ft high and consists of a silk curtain-like waterfall surrounded by lush greenery. The path to get to the hidden waterfall involves crossing a suspension bridge and navigating a 10 to 15 minute walk on logs which could be muddy after rainfall. When visitors make it to the falls, they're often met with an entrancing sight of a mesmerizing waterfalls set against trees adorned with vibrant mossy branches. It's as if visitors are entering a fairytale land, and picture opportunities abound. Koropuku Falls is definitely one of New Zealand's most unique and charming waterfalls and should not be missed while visiting the south island.
