Useful informations:

Access is via a toll road from Hinterriß, which is open approximately from late April to early November.

Toll fee: €7 per car per day (parking at the end of the road is included in the fee).

A large parking area is located at the end of the toll road. From there, several rewarding hikes begin:

  • Falkenhütte: approx. 3 hours | 7 km | 750 m elevation gain

  • Binsalm: approx. 1 hour | 2 km | 300 m elevation gain

  • Lamsenjochhütte: approx. 2.5–3 hours | 6 km | 750 m elevation gain

At the parking area, there is a hotel with a restaurant, a small shop, and public restrooms. A short walk through the maple trees leads to several traditional alpine huts where you can buy regional products and enjoy authentic Tyrolean cuisine.

Tip: In autumn, the colorful foliage creates an exceptional natural spectacle. It’s worth arriving early to experience the area in peace and quiet.
