Komani Lake is a beautiful man-made reservoir in northern Albania, renowned for its dramatic fjord-like scenery and crystal-clear waters. Possible activities:
Ferry ride between Koman and Fierza (2.5–3h, €10 pp, €30-60/car, €13/ bicycle, and €25/motorcycle)
Boat tour to the picturesque but extremely touristy Shala River, known as the "Thailand of Albania" (1h one way, dropped there for 4h and then return, €20 pp)
Paddling/wildcamping on your own (best option, although not easy to find flat terrain. for a tent). Take the ferry/tourist boat one way and paddle back, possibly staying overnight to enjoy peace and quiet ) (which is impossible during the day with all the tourist motor boats). To avoid crowds, it's best to visit on weekdays, especially Tuesday or Wednesday.
