Brúarfoss is a bright-blue waterfall on the Golden Circle. Plan for about a 20 to 30 minute walk from the small car park along a marked, narrow and muddy trail. There are no facilities. It is usually calmer than Gullfoss or Geysir but can still get busy in high season, so go early or late for the best light and fewer people. Stay on the paths to protect fragile moss and for your safety, as rocks are slippery and the current is strong.
