Palpugna-See is a beautiful alpine lake in the Engadin, about a 30-minute drive from St. Moritz. The lake is famous for its clear reflections and the colorful trees around it, especially in autumn, making it a real highlight for photographers. You can walk around the lake in about half an hour, which gives plenty of opportunities for different angles and compositions. Sunrise and sunset light adds warm tones to the water and trees, creating perfect conditions for landscape photos. Don’t forget to bring a drone — aerial shots of the lake and surrounding mountains look amazing and show a completely different perspective. It’s a peaceful spot, easy to reach, and ideal for a quick stop or a longer photography session.
