This is honestly my go-to spot for a hike or snowshoe. The views are incredible and it seems like I find a new little hidden gem every time I head up to the PCT. Head up to the top of Donner Summit at the intersection of Old Hwy 40 and the PCT. Then go either north or south and explore for yourself.

The Pacific Crest Trail in Truckee is an ideal spot for outdoor adventurers. Hikers, runners, and climbers will find endless miles of trail here to explore. The trails range from moderate to very strenuous, but all offer spectacular rewards! Whether a beginner or expert, the Pacific Crest Trail is sure to please with its breathtaking views.
