In Chianti, a winery is someone’s land, family history, and life’s work—not a tasting room conveyor belt.
Proper etiquette that elevates the experience:
Always arrive on time (or 5 minutes early). Late arrivals break the rhythm of the estate.
Greet the host before taking photos. A simple “Buongiorno” goes a long way.
Taste, don’t rush. This isn’t about how many wines you try—it’s about understanding one place deeply.

“Which parcel is this from?”
“How did this vintage behave?”Hold your glass by the stem, sip slowly, and pause before commenting.
Finish with gratitude, not negotiation—buying a bottle is appreciation, not obligation.
