How to Get to Brienz Rothorn Railway

🚞By Train: Take a train to Brienz from Interlaken (20 minutes) or Lucerne (1.5 hours). The Brienz station is just a short walk from the railway departure point.

🚗By Car: Brienz is located along the A8 highway, with ample parking available near the station.

The journey begins at the quaint Brienz station, located near the eastern shores of Lake Brienz.

Once the train departs, it begins its steep ascent through the picturesque landscapes of the Brienzer Rothorn massif. During the 60-minute journey, you’ll pass through alpine Meadows, Forests and Ravines and Tunnel Passages.
