Hunsader Farms is such a cute, feel-good Florida stop — especially if you love flowers, fresh air, and simple outdoor fun. One of the highlights is you can pick your own bouquet right from the field. Just pay at the gate, grab a cup, and fill it with whatever blooms catch your eye.
Pro tip: Bring your own scissors or clippers — they’ll charge extra if you need to borrow a pair.
Beyond the flowers, Hunsader hosts seasonal festivals throughout the year — pumpkin patches, u-pick produce, local craft vendors, food trucks, and sometimes live music. It’s a really easy place to spend an hour or an entire afternoon.
Some things to know before you go:
The flower field is seasonal. Late March through early June is when the zinnias, wildflowers, and sunflowers are actively blooming and available for U‑Pick
Festival dates and events are posted on their website and social media which I have included here
Bring some cash for vendors
Wear closed-toe shoes if it’s been rainy — it can get muddy
