Whats here?
A stunning beach just outside Albany, located within Torndirrup National Park. Known for its white sand, crystal-clear water and dramatic granite headlands. It got voted Australia's best beach in 2022 and you can see why.
What to expect
Crystal-clear turquoise water
White sand framed by granite rock formations
Short walk from the car park (no vehicle access onto the sand)
National Park entry fee ($17) applies (or covered by a WA Park Pass)
Limited facilities — come prepared
Is it worth it?
Yes — definitely worth a visit if you’re in Albany.
It pairs perfectly with the Bald Head Walk Trail in the same national park. Doing both in one day makes sense — you’ll only pay the park entry once and can combine an epic coastal hike with a relaxing beach stop.
A strong half-day or full-day combo if you want to make the most of Torndirrup.
