Cross Country Skiing
Rent Nordic/Cross Country skis from any of the ski rental places in town. Depending on the snow conditions you can find “Loipe” the cross-country trails in the fields in Garmisch, Grainau, and Lermoos.
Snowshoeing
If you want to try this for the first time, I recommend hiring a guide to take you out on the trail. Or check this website for recommended routes.
SC Riessersee Games
The local hockey team has games in the Olympic Ice Rink. The tickets are affordable and the games are high-energy!
Day Spas
Want a day to relax and unwind? Try booking a day spa package to enjoy pools, saunas, and relaxation rooms at Aja Hotel, Werdenfelserei, or Das Grassek.
Torchlight Hike through the Partnachklamm
This is only available during the winter months and has to be booked as a guided tour. You can book with the Tourism Office or with Klammhaus. I recommend the Klammmhaus because it includes a welcome drink and it has the option to stay for dinner afterward.
