The WelcomeCard Bonn Region is a tourist card that makes it very easy for those who are going to spend time in Bonn and its surroundings.

Types

There are several versions of the WelcomeCard, depending on the area you want to cover with public transport. Each type provides access to public transport within different regions, in addition to cultural benefits.

The main versions are:

1. WelcomeCard: no public transport.

2. WelcomeCard Bonn: transport only in the Stadtgebiet, i.e. within the city of Bonn. Just to explore the city by public transport, going to museums, parks, without going out to neighboring cities.

3. WelcomeCard Bonn Plus:

transport in the region up to 20km around Bonn, such as several nearby cities (Brühl, Bornheim, Wesseling, Königswinter). Ideal if you want to visit attractions outside the main city or stay in the suburbs.

Prices vary depending on the type of card (how large the region it covers) and whether it is for one person (“Single”) or family (“Family”).

The values ​​below are for 24 hours of validity.

1. WelcomeCard:

Single €8.00 | Family €15.00

2. WelcomeCard Bonn:

Individual €10.00 | Family €19.00

3. WelcomeCard Bonn Plus:

Single €14.00 | Family €26.00

* Family = normally 2 adults + up to 3 children between 6-17 years old.

Important

The WelcomeCard is valid for 24 hours from the moment you use it for the first time.

Always check which type you are purchasing so you don't pay for transport to areas you won't use.
