Cologne | Kölner Lichter

Every year, typically in mid-July or August, the “Kölner Lichter” (Cologne Lights) festival takes place. Cologne’s night sky lights up with a stunning fireworks display, synchronized to music, transforming the view of the Rhine River into a colorful sea of ​​lights.

The fireworks are launched from various boats anchored in front of the Hohenzollern Bridge, typically at 11:30 PM.

Aboard the more than 50 cruise boats, visitors have the opportunity to dine and dance to lively music while enjoying a close-up view of the fantastic fireworks display.

In the coming years, the events are scheduled to take place on August 1, 2026, and July 31, 2027. Don't miss it!
