Get ready for one of the most beautiful walks in the Ardennes, following the lively Hoëgne river as it tumbles through the forest. You'll cross charming wooden bridges and navigate winding paths, with the sound of small waterfalls as your constant companion. The main loop trail is about 10 kilometers and takes around 2.5 to 3 hours, though you can easily spend longer just soaking it all in. It's a good idea to wear sturdy, waterproof shoes as the trail can be muddy, and try to arrive before 10 a.m. to find a spot in the car park, which you enter with a memorable splash by driving through a shallow part of the river.
