7. Have Cash

You won’t find many shops or restaurants take card. 

When you come to Albania you should try to go to an atm as soon as you can get some LEK out. Most businesses also take euros as well as Albanian currency.

All ATMs charge a fee, which can range from 500 lek to 1000lek - Yes I KNOW, the fee is crazy.

You can also get Euro cash out of at least one of the banks' ATMs in Albania.

You cannot get Albanian Lek outside of Albania so you can either bring in Euros or USD and exchange it or get cash from an ATM once you're inside of Albania.
