Grafarlaug is an incredible natural hot spring located in the West of Iceland. This destination has a variety of features that will family and friends of all ages together. It was built in 1956 and is filled with naturally warm water with a temperature of 26°C! Adventurers also have the opportunity to explore the stunning surroundings, including Eiríksstaðir (where Eric the Red once lived) and Grábrókarhraun, a fascinating lava-field with a nearby crater. For those wanting to take a break from outdoor activities, there is a charming hotel located in Staðarskáli. Grafarlaug is truly is a must see on any Iceland trip!

Grafarlaug Pool is situated in Reykjadalur, in the Daelir Valley. Take Road 60 and look for an unmarked side road. From there, a 2-kilometer dirt trail leads to the pool.
