Hellulaug Hot Spring is a hidden gem in the Westfjords of Iceland, discovered only recently. It boasts a constant temperature of around 100°F (38°C), and is around 60 cm deep with a diameter of 3 to 4 meters. Situated near the beach with a perfect view of the ocean and Vatnsfjörður fjord, visitors can take a dip in the warm and delightful pool for free, as there is no entrance fee. Although the area does not have facilities for changing, travelers can bring towels, clothes, food, and hot drinks to enjoy this hidden gem. To get to Hellulaug Hot Spring, take Ring Road northbound from Reykjavik, then take a left turn on to Road 60 before reaching Bifröst. The drive to and from is filled with breathtaking views of the fjords, making for an exciting journey. Come to Hellulaug Hot Spring for a peaceful bathing experience surrounded by the beauty of nature!
