Hótel Aldan
Our rooms are situated in two historic buildings from the turn of the 19th century, which are divided into two hotels; The old bank and Snæfell. In these two buildings, we offer 21 beautiful rooms, each with its own unique soul and characteristics.
We also offer two apartments accommodating up to 6 persons each, situated in the old town center. The house is known as 'Dúlluhús', having served as the first educational institution of Seyðisfjörður.
Hotel Aldan is the perfect destination for travelers looking to experience the beauty of Seyðisfjörður. Each room is individually decorated and includes amenities like free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen television, and a mini bar. Onsite, guests can enjoy an à la carte restaurant serving traditional Icelandic dishes, as well as a café offering coffee and light meals. Parking is available on site.
The hotel has 4 different properties - the red building at the base of the fjord has two restaurants, a cafe and is the reception for all properties. The Old Schoolhouse (green building) as 2 apartments with washer & dryers. The Bank & Hotel Snaefell (post office) has regular hotel rooms.
