The Gishora Drum Sanctuary in Burundi is a century-old site founded by King Mwezi Gisabo to preserve the ancient art of Burundi's drum rituals. This lush hillside spot, just a stone's throw from the capital, Gitega, is where local boys and men known as Abatimbo keep the tradition alive. The drums, made from sacred trees, play a vital role in uniting the diverse clans of Burundi through ritual dances and ceremonies. Today, the sanctuary continues to host drumming sessions and celebrations, keeping the heartbeat of Burundi's cultural heritage alive and kicking.

You can show up any time during normal business hours for a show and they will call the drummers in from the surrounding area with a large drum. If I recall, the price was around $20-$30 for the show and it is fixed for the show not per person. You can pay directly there.
