Gruyere is a town in the french part of Switzerland which you can easily visit on your way down to Montreux, Lausanne or Geneva. Maybe you have heard of the Gruyere Cheese which is one of the most famous swiss cheeses you can find. Well like the name says, its from here, so make sure to try it out.
