To get to Ryten you can park at Fredvang skole. It’s a 3.5 km ascent to the top at 534m.a.s.l. the path is well marked and at the peak you get a lovely view of Kvalvika beach. You can also walk take a path down there to visit the beach. The hike is family friendly, but you should still be careful since there are some steep drops. There is a rock at the top which is a popular photo subject since when sitting on it, it makes it appear like you are teetering on the edge of a cliff. This is just photo magic since it is quite safely set on solid ground, but it’s still close to the edge so be careful.
