The Giardino dell'Orticoltura is a charming public garden in Florence with a rich history dating back to the 19th century. Originally established by the Tuscan Society of Horticulture, the garden features a beautiful tepidarium designed by Giacomo Roster and a quaint loggia by architect Castellucci. In 1930, the Municipality of Florence acquired the garden, making it open to the public. Visitors can enjoy strolling through the greenery, admiring the unique decorations like the "snake" created by Marco Dezzi Bardeschi, and even let their kids play in the playground. It's a lovely spot to relax and soak up some nature in the heart of the city. If you happen to visit during spring or summer, you can also enjoy an open-ait cocktail bar and a varied programme of cultural events.
