Månafossen is a stunning waterfall situated in the Frafjordheiane landscape conservation area of Dirdal, Norway. Though the hike up to Månafossen is moderately difficult, it will be worth the effort when visitors see the beautiful sight of the waterfall rushing through the narrow gorge and down into the river. Along this journey, one may experience lush forests as well as views of the mountain farm at Mån and Fidjadalen valley. Guests can also take advantage of fishing spots close by to catch some mountain trout. With two possible routes, one-hour round trips or six-hour trips to Stf’s cabin Blåfjellenden, there’s something for everyone who wishes to explore nature's beauty in this part of the country.
