If you’re chasing those famous Wānaka-style ridgeline views but want something a little quieter than Roys Peak, Isthmus Peak is your hike. The track winds steadily up through farmland and tussock before opening out to a summit panorama that’s honestly just as epic as Roys — with Lake Wānaka on one side and Lake Hāwea on the other.
