Cassidy Arch Trailhead Park in Capitol Reef National Park is an exciting and breathtaking hike that will take adventurers deep into one of the most stunning landscapes in Utah. The 3.4 mile out-and-back hike starts at Grand Wash Road, with a view over the wide canyon before entering a series of tight switchbacks up into colorful hills. During the next quarter of a mile, hikers will reach a great view over Grand Wash Road before getting a first glimpse of Cassidy Arch off in the distance - a more cave-like structure than arch formation from afar. When you reach the top, the arch is visible, an enormous hole and arch in the ground. To get onto the arch, you can walk around either side of the giant hole, and it's wide enough to make traversing it without fear of heights possible. Along the way, you'll experience a stunning variety of terrain and photo ops that you'll never forget.
