McConkie Ranch Petroglyphs are a unique collection of drawings that comprise a part of Fremont Native American culture that brought to life 200 feet of cliff in the Navajo formation near Vernal, Utah. Dating back between 1-1200 CE, the petroglyphs represent various people and symbols along with large renditions of the animals in the region. The petroglyphs can be easily reached by several trails that are marked with signs and ropes and visitors can get an up-close chance to appreciate these amazing artifacts. Donations to help upkeep the area are welcomed at the parking lot on site. It is sure to be an exciting and educational experience for those curious enough to explore!
