A highlight from my trip! Pico do Arieiro is a fantastic spot for majestic sunrise views as well as wondrous sunsets over the sea of clouds. The popular "Pico to Pico" hike from Pico do Arieiro to Pico Ruivo is one of the world’s best day hikes and offers beautiful vistas of Madeira’s rugged jagged coastline. My favorite part of this hike was the magical staircases that led me to two incredible viewpoints; Miradouro Juncal and Miradouro do Ninho da Manta.
