Located near the historic archaeological site where it was discovered, a faithful replica of the Venus de Milo statue has been placed in Milos. This initiative was taken by the Mayor of Milos to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the statue's discovery. After obtaining the necessary permits and oversight from cultural heritage organizations, the replica now stands as a tribute to this iconic piece of art.
