The Fruita Schoolhouse is a historic building located in Fruita, Utah, that was donated by the Behunin family in 1892. It served as a grade school from 1895 to 1941 and then sat empty until it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1973. The schoolhouse has a rich history, with Nettie Behunin being its first teacher. Today, it stands as a reminder of the early settlers in the Capitol Reef area and is a unique piece of Utah's educational past.

This is also one of my favorite spots to photograph in the fall!
