Pont-de-Nant, a charming village in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland, is a hidden gem nestled in the Alps. With its rich history and stunning natural beauty, this small village offers a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
The valley has several walking paths and incredible rich flora and fauna. You can do via ferrata ( LE Lavanchy ) and trekking as well.
I stayed in a Bergasthaus called Auberge du port de Nant. It is super cosy and if you would like to get away from the city it is the right place for it.
From the Berggasthaus you can hike all the way back to the valley with beautiful views to the surrounding mountains.
